It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

A Properly Lazy Sunday

We are back to Winter as usual... sunny bright days, on weekends the parks are full, the feria is busy and the cafes are bustling.
We took a late afternoon walk .. through the parks
past the statue of the man .. who is thinking ? has a problem ?
a headache?
or is he wondering about the woman next to him,
who seems to have some sort of relationship with a swan.
Then on through the parks , strolling, talking, watching Pup sniffing and strolling. If you ever watch him, he looks so intent on the ground, all the sniffing to be done but you can also see, he has one eye on us at all times. Back towards home, past the little bitty Fiat ..
Too bad Pup can't drive, he would fit perfectly.
Down the tiny street where the equally tiny but  excellent cafe  Florencio, is tucked in, between houses.. this is the street
this is one of the prettier houses on it
And then home to warm up
and have a gallon of tea and read and relax and be properly lazy, because it is Sunday.
