It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

The Woods

..
The woods are lovely, dark and deep.
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

I suppose wherever you live, you seek out and enjoy that which you love , that which brings you contentment and pleases your eye. We are lucky that we have these parks where we live, where I and my husband and Pup, can take a deep breath and look up at the branches, the sky and listen to the birds and the wind in the branches of these ancient old trees, and be soothed and refreshed .

  1. A couple of days ago my son told me that he loves BA because "it's green...it's not just a concrete jungle, Mom" he told me...your pictures reminded me of that!

  2. How nice is that ?!
I love how there are tiny little parks or squares here and there, some green bits for everyone. Not to mention, right now, the terraces and balconies are all in bloom. I planted a jasmine :)

  3. Green spaces are so important in cities - they provide invaluable breathing room for visitors and locals alike. Love those branches against the sky.
