It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Muy Contenta

Thanksgiving came and went here, in our new (still) hometown and not a turkey was sighted, not a yam was cooked, not a potato was mashed.. there were no stuffing left-overs to fight over.
But it was definitely a day to be Thankful and to appreciate all the Good Things in our lives.
Then the heat wave hit.
I am slightly ( some might say more than a bit) cranky.
I dislike heat and humidity, combined with the noise and crowds of city life and streets and I long to be in a dark green shady forest with just the sound of wind in the trees.
But then I slap myself and say, Wait a minute !
We have blocks and blocks of parks and trees and water just steps from our home, we have penguins a flight away, we have Miami 8 hours away .. NYC 10 hours away..
and if I really had to .. Had to ..
I could stand that flight to Paris that might be about 12 hours ? 15 ? what does time matter when you are flying to Paris .. feh ~
My husband and I are loving having the "kids" here and eating and talking and walking and all the things you do when loved ones visit.
Leading us to consider things like What If ... you know, what if we moved again, where, when , etc.
This Summer will be a lovely time for the two of us to reconsider Life in Argentina as well as possiblities for Life .. somewhere else.

But for now.. my babies are here.. at least 2 of them are and I am muy contenta ~
