It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

  2. Thank you dear . I was snowed in. It would have been much more fun if my husband was here to bake cookies with me.

I know what you mean. We've lost our best friend, our helper.

David was such a tease. Like the four dozen cookies I baked for the Road crew the other day. He would have said, "That's a great idea but where's mine?", knowing full-well I always made a fresh pot of coffee first. He got those from the last cookie sheet while still warm. He was also known to take a spoon from the drawer and sneak a spoonful of cookie dough.

Five months to the day he's been gone. It feels good to share memories of him.

  4. Dear Candice,
I gather that you didn't go out driving in the snow ….. I hate driving in snow. Stay in, stay warm and keep positive. It must be very hard for you but, you are doing so well.
    Am thinking of you. XXXX
